Rumors have been trailing the release of the Realme 9i, suggesting it will be one of the first sets of phones to debut in the year 2022. Although the Chinese manufacturer of the smartphone is yet to release any news to confirm the rumors, it is said that the phone is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T processor, 5000mAh battery power, and a quad back camera unit. Following the Realme 8i which was launched in India in September, Realme 9i will be the first in its series, followed by Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9 Pro+, and 9 Pro+/Max.
In a report by ThePixel, the smartphone company may release the phone in January and it would be on the market within the first quarter of the year. Adding that some of the specifications of the phone may include a 6.5 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with display with an improved processor from that of the Realme 8i, as well as an 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Realme 9i will possibly have a rear quad camera unit with a 64-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel sensor, and 2-megapixel sensors. While the front camera will have a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies. It may also have a 5000mAh battery life or more.
The Realme 9i is strongly believed to be an upgrade from the Realme 8i, which has specifications like a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display, an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC a triple rear camera setup with a 50 megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 main sensor, a selfie camera with a 16-megapixel sensor, 128GB of in-built storage with space for expansion of up to 256 GB Micro SD card supported slot and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
