Microsoft has announced the introduction of its new feature ‘Clarity Boost’ on Microsoft Edge browser for Xbox Cloud Gaming users. In a statement by the company, Clarity Boost optimization is designed to increase the visual clarity of the video streams.
The company recently rolled out Xbox Cloud Gaming support for a few of its Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X users, to enable them to stream games to the cloud with the condition of having an ultimate membership current membership game pass.
The company teamed up with the Xbox Cloud game to deliver optimized service in terms of upgrading to the best feel and look when playing games, to its audience through the Microsoft Edge Clarity boost.
According to the Xbox Program Manager, Milena Gonzalez, the
Clarity boost is one among other Microsoft Edge canary gaming optimization targeted at enhancing the visual quality of the stream by using a series of client-side scaling optimization. Adding that all Microsoft Edge users will have access to the new feature next year.
However, users who wish to enjoy the clarity boost feature before it becomes available on Microsoft Edge can experience it by downloading the Microsoft Edge Canary and login into their Xbox account and activating the feature.
As mentioned earlier, the few Compatible Xbox owners selected for the gaming support, who have a fast internet connection but with a lower bandwidth would have the opportunity to check out games with the ultimate game pass, before deciding to make a purchase.
