Without wasting time, ‘OLED EX,’ LG Display Co Ltd’s latest OLED TV technology, was on display recently.

LG Display’s advanced and personalized algorithm-based ‘EX Technology,’ which helps increase the innovative display’s total picture quality by up to 30% compared to traditional OLED displays, is used in the next-generation OLED EX display.

The name OLED EX is an acronym for ‘Evolution’ and ‘eXperience,’ and it represents the company’s mission of bringing new experiences to customers through its ever-evolving OLED technology.

LG Display is the world’s leading display technology inventor.

Speaking on the development, Dr. Oh Chang-ho, Executive Vice President & Head of the TV Business Unit at LG Display, stated that despite the global TV market experiencing a 12 percent decline in 2021, the company still witnessed a 70 percent growth in OLED sales.

Speaking further, Chang-ho stated that with the new OLED EX technology, the company aims to provide even more innovative, high-end customer experiences through the evolution of LG’s OLED technology, algorithms, and designs.

Price Action: LPL shares rose 4.59 percent to $10.03 in premarket trading on Wednesday, according to the most recent check.
